Well, a minor annoyance that I've had for the past few years is rattling clicking from the dash. You can only hear it when going over little bumps, etc. When I look at the black piece of plastic between the tan dash and the glass, I can see it is cracked in.two or three places.

My question is; how can this be fixed? Is this the infamous "dash clips" problem, or do you suppose the plastic piece is just cracked and could be creatively super-glued back together? I am possibly having a windshield replaced and am wondering if that would make it easier to get to?
