I have 4000 miles on my 01 XC. In the last month the keyless remote has begun acting up(first the panic button would go off, sometimes just looking at it would do this!) then, the remote buttons would not lock or unlock the car(not all the time, just occassionally), then, when the alarm would engage, even locking/unlocking the car with the key sometimes would not shut it off--I would have to fumble with the remote keys until it would stop. Now, today I have no lock functions at all--i.e. the lock control button on the drivers door does not work, it is not lit either, and the garage door opener buttons on the visor are not lit--they don't work either--I was rudely left out of my house, as I did not have my house keys on me!! I checked the appropriate fuses--they are fine.

Has anyone out there had similar problem? Are there any tech notes or similar problems any of you dealer mechanics have seen yet????
