Gear shift "tab' broken V70-XC70 1998

The "tab" on the gear shift lever (AT) has cracked and sometimes sticks when I put the car in park. When it sticks, I cannot remove the key, so I have to struggle and wrestle with the lever/tab until it unsticks and frees my key. Any thoughts? It's not a major issue, but it is a bit of a nuisance.
