40's series/X-Country 850 1994

In the several months I've been reading the BrickBoard, I don't recall

seeing anything about the S40/V40 or the 850 Cross Country. Are the

40 series good cars? I believe Mitsubishi some how is involved with

their production. And what about the Cross Country?? Are there added

problems, maintenance etc. with the all wheel drive? Although I love

my 850 there are times when I think the smaller 40 series would be all

I need. And,since I live in Colorado, there are times when I think

the Cross Country with its 4-wheel drive and higher ground clearance

would be nice to have also. Just wondering....
