I found a procedure in Haynes 11-8 to remove the lock cylinder, I can put the key in so I hope that is all that is required to remove the cylinder as I can't run the key. Once I get the cylinder out do I take it to a locksmith or do I have to go to volvo (to buy a new cylinder for example).
I don't want to have to deal with 2 different keys, unless re-keying is $$.
So for now I have 2 other key holes in the car that work.
