bumper tape (front) V70-XC70 2001

After having to paint the front bumper cover on my 99 T5 I am interested in taking preventive measures for my 01 T5. Any body ever used the bumper tape offered by either Volvo or IPD? I would like to just peel off the tape when I sell in 2 years instead of painting.
