Hello-

I was just involved in a low-end fender bender at a stop light here in CA, while driving my 5 mo. old '01 V40. Fortunately, no one was injured and the traveling speed was low, approx. 7 mph. Unfortunate for me as I've never been in any kind of car collision in my entire 30 yrs. of driving, until today in my new V40. &^%(*&#!!!

The damage is as follows:

Left headlamp and turn signal- completely destroyed.

Hood- just above where the left headlamp and left turn signal were smashed, the sheet metal was crimped back in a bit, about ± 1/2 inch.

Left Side fender/sheet metal- minor damage, where the sheet metal meets the headlamp/turn signal assembly gasket is again, crimped back a bit another ± 1/2".

I wanted to ask if anyone can recommend, or knows of, a few respected Volvo body shops in the San Francisco Bay Area. And who happen to be familiar with the V40 styling requirements. I would appreciate any posts.
