I'm told I need to replace this very expensive part on my 93 850. I just had the engine head rebuilt after the timing belt broke. The brakes worked fine when I took (or rather, towed) the car in for the head damage. When I picked up the car, the brake fluid was low and they filled it. Within a few blocks, the fluid leaked out - "pissed out" as the mechanic said - and now they tell me that this is the part that is leaking and there is no rebuild kit for it. Is this something that could have been damaged when they rebuilt the engine?? Seems quite a coincidence that this is now damaged when it wasn't before. I'm hoping, I guess, there is some connection to the engine work, or that maybe there is an alternative to buying another one of these units. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
