FRONT AXLE SPLINE WON'T BUDGE FROM HUB, S70

Have a 98 S70. I want to replace both front wheel bearings and struts. For the
lift of me , I can not get the axle out of the hub, the spline end won't budge.
I used solvent, dead blow hammer, wheel puller, all to no avail. Does anyone
know, if I use a 2 tongue wheel puller on the back of the plate (where tire nuts
bolt to) and the pointer on the axle end, is there anyway I could damage the hub? Would this pull apart, or can I just crank of it, till the axle shaft spline finally loosens???
Need help asap if you have ideas. Greasy and disgusted. Thanks
