Just Like to Say Thank You All - Participants, Brickboard and Baty 13!! 850 1995

This is really a good forum here at Brickboard with really great participants !!

Between Bay 13 and this forum I have learned to perform all sorts of repairs and maintenance on my 1995 850 Turbo that heretofore I was stuck with the dealer doing.

I only discovered this forum a few weeks ago and already it has paid off (see my previous post on loose caliper dust boot).

These are the repairs I have done utilizing the excellent directions from Bay 13:

1) Transmission Microswitch replacemnt

2) Top engine torque mount (replaced w/IPD part- its great)

3) Repaired/replaced power seat cables on both front seats

4)Repaired leaking turbo oil return line

5) Replaced front disk brake rotors and all brake pads

I reckon I have saved a bundle- better yet, I had a ton of fun doing it (really!).

This is a classy forum and I appreciate all the usefull dialogue!!
