I just bought a 2007 XC70 and it starts to run rough at about 110km/h (70mph). I put on a new set of tires, balanced them all three times, even got the dealer to give me four new ones on warranty. I also had a Volvo tech do an alignment and inspect all of the running gear and suspension and he said it is perfect. But it still vibrates (my wife calls it a thrum) at highway speeds. It feels like something is out of balance. Is this just a characteristic of the AWD Volvo? or is there something else I can look at? My 1973 1800 runs smoother than this car!
