New turbo owner...What grade of gas is everyone using? 850 97

I just got an 850R wagon and was wondering what type of gas to use? The manual says anything greater then 87 octane but is this okay for a turbo motor? I'm sure it is because the manufacturer says so but should I go to a 89 or even 92 just to be safe or am I wasting my money? Just wondering...
