Driver's leather seat abnormal wear & cracking S80

DRIVER'S LEATHER SEAT ABNORMAL WEAR AND CRACKING:
Hello! I need your help! Has anyone had their leather driver's seat crack on the left side panel in less than a year and a half? I have a 2009 S80, however, if anyone with any year S80 has had this experience, I would really appreciate hearing from you, any details you'd like to share, and learning what was volvo's response? Thank you! :)
