considering XC-Light turbo... V70-XC70 2001

I am a current owner of 86 gold, 500,000 miles. German cars are high on maintenance., mostly on CV joints.! I must have replace mine about 15 times.

I am looking for a little more storage, to be able to carry things in my car. I had a squareback before, and liked it. I do about 26K to commute every year to work. about 80 miles a day.

I have test driven the XC Light turbo, and am impressed with the engineering of the car..

I am going for the long haul. Another 15 years with 1 car. When we had both cars payed for we where saving 3K per month. And keeping cars a lot longer is only necessary and practical..

I am interested in Fuel Efficiency., and long term maintenance.

Any comments?
