Hi everybody. Well, I knew it was too good to be true. I bought a '98 S70, a really nice one, single owner, with only 95k miles on it. I've put 4k on it in two months with not a single problem... Until the other day.
It seems the SERVICE light goes on when I start the car up. Once I've driven about a mile or so, it goes out.
I searched here and found that it's just an annoyance light to get you to go into the dealer for an oil change. Is that really all it's for?
Or is it trying to tell me there's something that needs fixing?
I did run the tank down to almost empty (oops). Then made the mistake of topping it off (oops again). It was just after that when this little problem started. Coincidence?
Thanks for any help with this. I'm really enjoying this car. It's *solid*.
