Help son put in the oil trap on his 98 s70. He was not leaking oil but figured it was time.

I have done the replacement twice before.

During the job he decided to replace the o-ring on the dip stick tube with a 99 0-ring he had.

After the job he started to develop a huge oil leak.

Since I don't have a lift brought it to my indy shop to clean and check out.

The mechanic says the intake has to be removed because one of the hoses must have come loose.

I think my son crimped the o-ring when he put the tube back in.

I will probably start by refitting the tube but my question is if indeed one of hoses came loose would it be dumping alot of oil in my driveway. The whole middle bottom of the engine was coated with oil.
