Rear spoiler effective ?? V70-XC70 2001

While driving home tonight in slushy conditions, I had to keep the rear wiper on to keep the glass clear. I couldn't turn it off for even 30 seconds without the glass becoming to covered with slop to see out. I was wondering if one of those rear spoilers/wind deflectors would help. Are they available for this car? Do they come in factory colors or just black? Does anyone have one? Thanks, Tom.
