Transmission woes 850 93

My 850 GLT sedan with an automatic trans skips second gear. The arrow light and the sport button light are flashing and I have an error code of 1-2-2 that will not clear. Can anyone tell me what that code indicates and if this problem may be caused by something outside the transmission itself?
