Windows/Sunroof C70 1999

I was recently driving from Durham, NC to Philadelphia, PA and had both windows and the sunroof suddenly conk out. I don't think it is a fuse because when I try to lower the driver side window it makes a whirring clicking noise but it wouldn't lower. Made for an interesting attempt at squeezing my arm through a partially open door to pay a toll. Anyway, before I take it to a dealer does anybody have any thoughts/similar experiences? Thanks in advance for any help.

PS It is probably just because my car is now out of warranty... my luck...
