Tranny Shutter!

Does anyone have information on S80 T-6 transmission problems? My S80 chatters or shutters when accelerating hard and shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. My Dealer thinks there is either a software download or a selenoid replacement for the fix. I hope so, since the car has only 37,000 miles on it!
