installed hks blowoff valve....know the check engine light is on!!! S70 98

Hey guys i just installed a HKS BLOW OFF valve on my car...sounds really neat and stuff...my problem is the next day one of the check engine light came(the weird symbol...the second last one on the bottom part of the cluster)....i bypassed the stock blow off valve so it does not work anymore....do you guys think the obd2 is reading it as a problem because thats what i think it is...and how to i get the darn light off??....tks guys from ROB
