280 MM brakes upgrade to 302MM. Thoughts? V70-XC70 1998

I've read the info on the conversion and I'm debating on changing my 98 V70 GLT brakes to the larger size.

The car is due for new rotors and pads. I figured since I was replacing them all, might as well go to the larger rotors.

Is it worth it?

I'm currently running 280 MM rotors and 15 inch wheels. I do have a deal in the works for a set of 17" Canistos.

I was going to get donor capliper brackets from XC70. Use longer SS brake lines.

I haven't been able to confirm that the calipers are the same.

Are slotted rotors worth the extra money? Don't want drilled rotors as they don't dissapate the heat as well. I'm no boy racer but I do like to stretch her legs every once in a while (ok, maybe more often on the highway)

Best brake pads and rotors? opinions wanted.
