I've heard and read about the brake-torque launch technique people use to extract the best possible ETs on automatic-equipped turbocharged cars so here it is: Can anyone tell me where to hold the tach before the launch? Is it really as simple as brake, gas to certain revs & hold, then mash the throttle and let go of the brake pedal simultaneously at launch? Any idea if all this left-foot braking with the revs up will do a lot of damage to the tranny?
