The car might be possessed... (electrical gremlins) 850 1994

I posted a couple weeks back about finding my battery dead and my dash lights stuck on after recharging. The problem persisted on and off for a couple days. I eventually got it flipped back to normal maybe because I rocked the fuse panel around a few times. Maybe not.

Here are the chronic symptoms...
-The left turn signal sometimes flashes the bulb-out light... when the lights are on.
-The bulb-out light faintly glows when I put the car in reverse.

Here are the occasional symptoms...
-The heater blew hot air when the dials were set to cold.
-The car wouldn't start when I turned the key... and then the alarm went off until I pulled the alarm horn (everything was fine after I reconnected it)
-The sun roof closed and retracted itself on it's own - in drive and in park w/o a key.
-The car alarm went off on its own (I was 10 feet away at the time)
-After the alarm went off, the dash lights were stuck on... until I wiggled the fuses... I think.
-A maniacal laughter can be heard from the engine compartment... followed by human blood oozing from the vents.

My guess is that somewhere in the car, there's a wire cross or a hellgate open, or a bad ground... or something.

aside from the reverse lights.. the only hint of a clue that I've got is the AC.. and I can't see how it make sense.

The AC was not working when I bought the car in February. About the same time as the appearance of the gauge lights and battery problem, I dumped a gauge-less can of AC coolant into the system - froze my finger in the process. I jumpered the pressure gauge and was happy to see the compressor engage as I emptied the can into the system. The AC started cooling immediately.

Now I'm not 100% sure about the sequence, but the electrical problems began either right before recharge, or right after I dumped that first can into the system. It may be a coincidence; there are too many variables to be sure.

The AC didn't work for more than a couple days, but the temps have been sub-80 for a couple weeks now. so no need.

Today, I filled the system to 35 psi (using a gauge) today. The compressor was cycling on and off, until I had dumped 12-14oz into the system and then it began to work just fine.

However, about 10 minutes later, the alarm went off for no reason, and I had a hard time getting the alarm to shut off or the doors to unlock with the remote.

When it finally went off (and the doors would unlock) I noticed that my dash lights were again stuck on.

I pocked around and checked the fuses again. When I checked the dash, the lights were off. The car's been quiet since.

Weird stuff. Aside from "shorted wire somewhere" any ideas where I need to start looking for the source of the problem? Perhaps I should hire a priest?

Could the AC somehow be causing this problem?
