well after struggling with the new head and timing belt on my 99V70 GLT... It drove great for almost a week (thanks again KlausC)... then when one morning, it would fire up but not accelerate, no signal for my TCM. I checked cleaned and rechecked.. talk about upset! well enough is enough... at least for now on this one.
So i get on craigslist the next morning someone put up an 00XC for 1200 obo... It had 110K and wasn't running. To quote the PO "It was running great then it just stopped running, It sounded like it wanted to start but doesn't"
I said well I think i know what that is! I drove all the way down 75 miles... Sure enough if it a clean Bronze looking cross country, it was dealer maintain and the PO was just wanted out of it... I got it for 800 buxs, Then i jumped the fuel pump relay and had my girlfriend follow me home! :)
I have always wanted the cross country, I'm sure i'm going to regret it one day. for some reason at first glance it doesn't look like a lot of the stuff off the GLT would swap over to it. Anything i should do to it besides the normal stuff, oil change, trans flush, PCV system, etc?
