P1800 differential swap ALL 64

Overdive works fine, would be going 45mph with out it.Is there much difference between the 4.56:1 and the 4.1:1 ? Is there a unit from a latter car with a closer ratio which could fit on my car? I've heard the 69 has a 3.7:1 could I fit a 69 read end on mine?
