OK, I'll Change my own oil

I had what you might call bad luck with my pervious dealer for service. I would use much more descriptive words than that, but you might say "bad luck." So to a new dealer I go. While there for a simple warranty issue I had then change the oil. I was at 7500 miles and I thought, well build a good rapor...I wanted to change to Mobil 1 anyway. So I brought the oil to the dealer, 7 quarts, I didn't want them to say "Well, you only have 6 qts here and we always drain the turbo on a deal like this...sorry cant do it with your oil." So I picked up the car the next morning and heading on a one and half hour trip up skiing. Got home, checked the oil after unloading the skis. WAY Over Full. I returned to the dealer, After some arm twisting and going back in the back a couple of times, said, "Sorry we put all 7 qts in." They did drain off the excess. I asked for my 7th qt of oil, they said well, I'll comp your oil change next time. Well I cant be a jerk to this guy he is the last stop for a Volvo dealer for 100 miles. Do these guys just not get it, I wasted a couple hours of my time and an extra qt of oil. And they want me to give them another chance to blow out the main seals of my motor and waist more of my time. OK I'll CHANGE MY OWN OIL, that only takes about 20 min, paying a dealer took much longer, ugg. I look forward to the day my car is out of warranty and can deal with my independant shop with this car. It will cost me, but it least things get done right.
