Here's an odd one for you techs out there...
Lately I've noticed on several occasions that there is a fluid leaking out of the driver's side headlight washer nozzle. Normally I wouldn't give this even a second thought, as I'd assume it was just windshield washer fluid.
However, I've looked at it a couple of times now, and it looks to me to be antifreeze. It's a yellowish/green color, rather viscous, and it leaves a residue on your fingers.
My question is this: How is it possible to get antifreeze into the windshield washer system, such that it would leak out of just the driver's side headlight washer nozzle?? There are no other visible leaks anywhere around the car, and no puddles underneath.
Could this stuff be something other than antifreeze?
Is it possible someone might have accidentally connected a coolant overflow line into the windshield washer system?? (I know, that sounds bizzare, but this stuff is strange!)
Thanks in advance!
