1999 V70 dies 1 or 2 secends after starting.

Good morning to you all!

This may be a known issue; but I have not found back enough info to pinpoint the cause.

Yesterday after work and it's the first day NYC that temperature dropped below 50 F degree this year, the engine started right up on first try; but it stoped in a couple of seconds. It could not be restarted in many trials after that though it seems yanked normal (battery and ignition are good?). Let it sit for 10 min or so. It started up right away again; but lasted only a second. I repeated this for a few more times; it did the same. I listened when the key in Position II and didn't hear any noise/sound associated with fuel delivery (?).

It seems that the engine does not get fuel.
1. Clogged fuel filter? It's original at 130K miles now. Bought one last year but didn't get it installed.
2. Relay? Where does it locate? How to test it?
3. Fuel pump?

Am I on the right track? I will get the car towed back home and do more checking.

Thank you,
Paul
