Engine swap S70 1998

Hello, I am in australia. I have a MY98 S70 fitted with the B5254T which is designated the 2.5L LPT ENGINE. It has a faulty piston, have found a later model B5234T3, obviously it will fit but what do I do to make it work in my car. Thanks in advance
