Apparent exhaust leak in Turbo/intercooler hose. 850 1996

I posted a question earlier in regard to my '96 850 T's mileage and as i am still waiting for Spring to arrive
up here in the Great White North, I have only been able to implement a few suggestions.
Part of my issue though was a failure of my Turbo to kick in properly and a closer inspection of all hoses
has shown me what appears to be exhaust leakage in what I think is the intercooler outlet hose... from where the arrow is in the picture. I cannot tell if it is in the elbow right at the arrow or from in the foam covering to the left. Depending on the setting of my air/heat in the car I can smell it also when the engine warms. Can anyone please confirm that this part is what I think it is and also was wondering that if this hose is leaking that perhaps I should replace all Turbo intercooler hoses??? I see that you can get kits or buy all separately. Question 2 is this... does anyone have reference to a "How To Replace " these hoses as a step by step procedure AND if so... is this a DIY job (reasonable capability) or something to avoid ?

Thanks for any/all input.

Am trying to post picture below... hope this works.
