Xenon Blue Headlights 850 1995

I recently purchased some new simulater HID Xenon Gas Headlight bulbs. They are 80W and claim to give off 100W of blueish light much like the new BMW and Mercedes cars. They look great and give off a lot of light, however I am concerned that maybe they will run too hot and cause problems. If anyone has tried them please let me know how it worked out. Just don't want to cost myself alot of money for a moderate improvement.
