How to increase off the line power? 850 1996

Hi gang,

Hey, just found out that my 1996 850 Turbo that I got two weeks ago is actually a Platinum. Lots of options and really cool paint.

Ok, here's the question. I've increase airflow by putting in a K&N and a custom exauhst. Now the boost comes on-line much quicker and when it does, hold on. However, I'm wondering if there is a safe way to increase off-the-line power? Being an admitted neophite here, I assume this has to do with a torque limiter? I'm sure there are a bunch of ways to do this from chipping to one of those fuel mixture things?
