V70 no start 98 electric squirrels? V70-XC70 1998

Hi

My 1998 V70 was being used as a squirrel nut storage facility for about a year due to me breaking a fuel line removing the pump. Finally fixed line and replaced pump and it started up fine. Put new gas and drove around block a few times and parked in the driveway and denutted it. Week later tried to start it and no go. Fuel pump is not turning on but headlights are now on in the off position with key turned on. Could the squirrels rearranged some wiring? No Codes and currently recharging battery. Any suggestions greatly appreciated Steve in Maine
