A good driving school for new drivers

If your children or neighbors are over 16 and starting to drive or never learned anything from driver's ed, look this up:

www.streetsurvival.org

I signed up my daughter 10 years ago and she still hasn't forgotten the great day she had. A wet skid pad, sudden lane departure moves, and high speed turns.

An instructor + student in the student's car for 4+ hours on an off road course. They teach apex cornering, ABS usage, oversteer/understeer, and best of all - confidence.

Where else can a 'kid' learn his/her limits legally? I don't know what the cost is today, $65 10 years ago. It is sponsered by Tire Rack and BMWCCA.
