The ABS system on my 98 V70 base (206K miles) is acting up. For a while, the ABS light was on, and now the light is off, but the abs is "engaging" under normal, dry-weather, low speed conditions (such as pulling into a parking space). It seems to be most noticeable when the car is turning. The brakes work, and the car stops, but it's my daughter's car and I want it working properly. I have swapped out the ABS unit once, with one I picked up at a pick-and-pull, when the ABS light came on and stayed on at the beginning of winter, and that worked for a while, but this is a different symptom.
