I guess staying with the old-fashioned tri-colored lens would have been too simple...

When I got the side lamps for the fenders, I was able to locate the ones with amber lenses (IPD no longer carries those and the only person who had them was Tony Varrigni). I am very happy with them and am still wondering why Volvo and others have gone to these clear lens/amber bulb setups. Anyone know of a technical reason or is it just a matter of style?
