Here are the directions for the Fabric repair on the sunroof. ..thanks to Rich K, many of us have saved a bunch doing this repair ourselves. these are Rich's instructions word for word ....take your time and it will come out great.
I'll do my best at guiding you through the removal and installation of the sunroof shade. First the tools you will need: I use a 1/4 drive 25 torx bit to remove the screws that hold the glass part of the sun roof in place, a small pocket screw driver, and you will also need a good spray on contact glue, the kind where you let both sides dry and then carefully put them together, I think Trac Auto, Pep Boys etc. all carry a 3M brand or equivalent.
Well here goes, tilt the back of the sunroof up, and slide the shade back. On both sides (right and left) there is a black plastic scissor like trim piece. With the sun roof up the pivot point on the trim is forward. Grab the back of the black plastic trim that is on the bottom and pull it forward bowing it inward and it will lift out of the slot it slides in, note how you are taking it out because those words I hate to hear "assemble in reverse order " do apply here. Once the bottom piece is free scissor it up and flush with the piece that is still attached to the sun roof, now gently push it forward and it will come un-clipped, now that it's off it looks simple, do the same to the other side. Now look at one side carefully, study a bit before proceeding cause it has to go back the same way. There are 3, 25mm torx screws holding the one side in (and 3 on the other side), the screws you are going to undue are the two forward ones. Before removing the two forward screws I always scribe around the screw head to mark exactly where they were, the black paint on the rails when scribed leaves nice marks for you to match up when you are putting it back together. Well go for it, unscrew the two forward screws on the right and left side, now you might want a blanket or something on top of your roof because you are going to push back and up to lift the roof out off the rails it sits on, once free you can get out of the car and move the glass out of the way. Now slide the shade forward as far as you can, from the outside of the car you can see the plastic clip with a bent wire that is the guide/slide (two in the front two in the rear). Looking at it for a while you can see that the small pocket screw driver will help slide the clip inboard allowing you to lift that side out of the track, then do the other side, now you can pull the shade a little farther forward to un-clip the back slides. Wala the shade should lift out. Now with some work area, peal back all the lose cloth and then generously spray your glue on both sides, allowing both sides to dry completely. Now an assistant would be helpful to hold the cloth up while someone with clean hands works the cloth back onto the backing board. Well that's about it except for the "install in reverse order" I would allow a good afternoon that wasn't to humid outside, (helps with the glue drying).
[After all this I got a nice one at the local junkyard for a very reasonable price.
