Repair advice - driver's side side view mirror housing XC90

The driver's side side view mirror housing on my 2004 XC90 is cracked with some pieces missing. The "hole" at the bottom of the housing is about .5" X 1.25". The mirror is intact, and the adjustment motor and courtesy light are in good shape.

Shy of buying a used unit or covering the broken space with electrical tape, do you have any suggestions on a repair strategy?
