I've got to replace the heater core in my 2004 S40 (early model), and I've been searching this forum and several others to find a good how-to. I know it's a butch of a job. All the references I've found give warnings like "danger, Will Robinson!" and "stock plenty of alcohol", but I can't seem to find any detailed instructions.

I've done dashboard removals in other cars, so I'm not afraid of the job, but I'd really like to do some research and find any shortcuts that anyone else has come up with. If anyone can point me to a good page, I'd be very appreciative and promise to bless your name as I consume the first victory beverage when the job is complete.
