Pat,

I can't comment on whether STC is just TRACS with a higher throttle limit but I can provide you some reviews of DSTC (debuted on the S80?) which is Volvo's all-speed traction control combined with yaw control. The URLs posted below are of winter tests of Volvo's DSTC option and to say it performed well would be a bit of an understatement! Read for yourself and you decide:
