Aaron,

My 95 855 developed rattle also when driving on rough road a while ago. In highway driving, no rattle at all. The rattle was loud and inside the car. Dealer test drove it and recognizied the problem immediately. It was the rubber mount of the driver side's rear suspension. They replaced the rubber mount and the rattle disappeared.
