Being the owner of two 94 854 Turbo's I have been able to determine that there are some generic flaws (like upper engine support)associated with these vehicles. I have posted a survey at http://members.tripod.com/KVELEZ/850.htm.

850 owners, I would appreciate if you would fill them out since I have all the intentions of forwarding the results to Volvo and demand that these flaws be covered beyond warranty. I don't know about you folks but, a 30 - 40K automobile should not be subject to manufacturing defects such as an multiple shift lock micro switch failures before 40K miles. Please note that I am an electrical engineer and not an attorney trying to drum up business for a class action lawsuit. I will keep those who reply posted of the results.
