Okay,

The car is garaged but we have had an industrious mouse or meesses set up home in the hood liner, our Boxer dog alerted us to it due to the chewing noises... good boy! So far it appears the mess is to the hood liner and eaten acorns scattered throughout the engine compartment. I would like to check the cabin air filter to see if those bulgy eyed buggers have made it to the interior. The question is how to get to the filter? Could not locate this in the 06 user manual.
