Hi, I'm having some odd symptoms for a while now, and wondering if anyone has had anything similar, and have any ideas. Here are some of the things: fill ups never seem to fill all the way. The cut off at the pump always tries to switch off, even trying different angles and depths. The fill up never makes the gas gauge rise to the top. Fearing overflow, I stop after counting gallons, the last time an attendant filled, it took 15.3 gallons went in with supposed room to spare. When at my sister's there is a narrow driveway surrounded by walls, and a few times I've gotten a whiff of gas standing next to the car. No smell inside or out on the street. Is that just a breather, or not normal? In general, filling ang gauge don't seem normal. What to look for/suspect?
