I recently purchased a 2001 S-80, with a 2.9 non-turbo engine. The car has been involved in a front-end accident which will require replacing the hood, headlights, core support, radiator, condenser, and bumper. The vehicle has just under 85K on the odometer so I couldn't pass it up. As I was doing the tear-down the other day I noticed that the front of the throttle body assembly is dented in and will most likely need to be replaced also. Is this simply a bolt on procedure, or will the vehicle need to be taken to the dealership, after the part is installed, to have the new throttle body synced the the vehicle?
