Hi all, (03 XC-70, 158k)
I noticed the other day that the brake light warning message was coming up, had someone look at it, seems the 2 regular brake lights are only coming on intermittently, however the 3rd one is working all the time. I read on Matthew's Volvo site to try switching the fog lamp relay for the brake relay in the rear passenger fuse/relay panel. Did this, and nothing seemed to do anything, i.e. same symptoms as before, no change. Of course did this late at night and might have accidentally installed a relay in the wrong socket, because now when I try to lock my car the darn gas cap lock is activated instead of the rear passenger door lock.
SO,
Does anyone have a diagram of the relays in the rear compartment. Any idea besides tracing all the wiring in the back? Has this happened to anyone else. I tried searching the site with no luck
