Opinions on XC long term use. V70-XC70

I currently have a 95 850 turbo that I love with 134,000 miles on it.

I am considering replacing it with a XC for the all wheel drive and cargo capacity.

I need your opinions on this car. What previous year would you recommend and is this car prone to frequent repairs. It is not very well like by Consumer Reports, but I prefer feedback from real owners.
