Another CD Changer Question 850 1993

Hi, I have another CD chager question, I was on E-Bay and I found a CD Changer for my '93 850, only problem is that it says its for the '94-'97 models, will it work with my '93? Was there a change over in audio systems from the '93 to the '94? Because I would hate to buy the changer and have it not work.
