Cold weather rattle/creak S70 1998

On days below 40 degrees my dash develops a "creaky-rattle" near the front left speaker. I can place my hand on the speaker grille with no downward force and the noise will disappear. However, when I remove the speaker grille the noise is still present. Very strange.

Any ideas on how to remove this EXTREMELY annoying noise? TIA!
